The purpose of the Lyons-Muir Historical Society and Museum is to preserve the local history as well as historical landmarks and buildings in the Lyons-Muir Michigan areas, establish local genealogical research, inform residents of the local history, and retain as much of the past as possible for the future.

Our museum has numerous displays of historical artifacts from the villages of Lyons and Muir Michigan, as well as countless archives.
